Who the hell is Grindcobbe?[edit]

The name is thrown into the text about the Peasants' Revolt but with no previous mention or any explanation as to who this was (or indeed, who was hanged drawn and quartered). The whole article is extremely poorly written. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.19.15.56 (talk) 14:11, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with St Albans[edit]

This is not a long article, so I suggest it is merged with St Albans. The articles about St Albans show evidence of unco-ordinated editing. We have (a) "City of St Albans" about the administrative district; (b) "St Albans City Council" about the governing body of the administrative district; (c) "St Albans," about the town, and (d) this article. I suggest that, for the benefit of readers, we have only two articles: (1) "St Albans", about the town and its history, and (2) "City and District of St Albans" about the administrative district and its government post-1974. Pelarmian (talk) 23:01, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This article has now been extended and is probably too long to merge into St Albans. Pelarmian (talk) 09:57, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Consistent with other articles about towns, the detailed history should be in a separate article. Tag removed. Pelarmian (talk) 16:34, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section[edit]

Too short - should summarise article. Pelarmian (talk) 09:24, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
