It contains a great deal of promiscuous sex and many violent deaths, a number of them human sacrifices to heathen gods. Some of the sex and some of the deaths are family matters. I read it as a child, which was a long time ago. J S Ayer 02:51, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
