Errors in original source[edit]

The original source Henry Norman(d) MacLaurin biography in General Officers of the First AIF contains several errors which passed into this article as well. The page creator has been emailed with suggestions of factual improvements. Specifically, Henry's middle name is spelt "Normand" with a "d", his father was named Sir Henry Normand MacLaurin, and Dr. Charles MacLaurin was actually the subject's brother not his father.

(As a personal aside, Henry Normand MacLaurin's brother James was actually my great grandfather!) Cheers, Colin MacLaurin 22:51, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the reference to 15 August 1915 promotion can't be correct as he was already dead! Jim Saurman —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.134.101.32 (talk) 13:07, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
