Conflicting range[edit]

Article may need clearing, if fossils have been found in Colombia then range extends beyond current day sahara. Vercynogetorix (talk) 10:04, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, the fossils from Colombia belongs to Titanoboa, not Gigantophis, as is already stated in the text. However, the article certainly needs more information... --Rextron (talk) 22:33, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

N.b. concerning redescription[edit]

Please do not add images from Rio and Mannion (2017)'s redescription of Gigantophis. While the images are CC, they are non-commerical, which means we cannot use them. Lythronaxargestes (talk) 19:21, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
