Parts are still standing[edit]

From what I can see from footage the castle wasn't completely destroyed in the earthquake. Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 11:46, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hyperbole[edit]

Various editors, mostly IPs, are insisting on adding the qualifier "severely" to the statements that the castle was damaged in the recent earthquakes. No sources supporting this vague and unnecessary term have been given; and no argument made for its inclusion. It needs to be removed once and for all; at least until reliable sources report the extent of the damage. or not hyperbole... Which one shall suffice? al Jazeera saying

... partially destroyed, with many of its walls and watch towers levelled, and other parts damaged.

Or [[1],

partial destruction of a Roman-era castle

or BBC

...showed severe damage

. Each of them also describes the damage and 'severely' seems like a pretty accurate synonym for what's described. Slywriter (talk) 21:39, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
