Not worthy of comment in the main article, but perhaps of interest to a passing researcher, might be that, with the records of Maurice Platnauer at Brasenose College Oxford, is the menu of the Annual Dinner, on 24 May 1957, of the Oxford University Air Squadron, the meal attended by Air Chief Marshal Sir Dermot A.
