Sourcing[edit]

The original Who's Who in the Navy source has many factual differences from what is said in H-J's obituary in The Times. I've added some bits from the obituary but I really cannot resolve the numerous problems that remain without access to the Who's Who source - practically every statement seems to need qualification in some form or another.
