Article history[edit]

As with a number of other obsolete ethnonyms, the term is not directly related to any single modern nationality. Therefore, although I am aware that the article looks as a dicdef, I find it useful to have in a separate page, to collect redirects from various forms, rather than a redirect to some single ethnicity, which would be misleading.

Also, there is certain encyclopedic content about historical usage, to be added later. Laudak (talk) 17:54, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
