Structure of this article, including use of names[edit]

I am about to complete a major copyedit of this article. Just some notes to the article's 'creators'. Please refrain from adding unencyclopaedic information to this article. I am removing a number of names from this article, including the founder (state schools generally don't have founders as the government 'founds' them - maybe a first Principal, but if you want to claim Fitzpatrick is a 'founder' you better get a good source). There was also a list of student names that I'm removing, partly on notability grounds, partly on WP:NOTNEWS grounds. If you want to list that type of thing on the internet, put it on the school's website, not on Wikipedia. There will probably also be other significant pieces of text removed from the article - again stuff that should be on the school's website, not here. I'll leave stuff that sounds commonsense and reasonably encyclopaedic, but please try to find sources for the article content and future additions. Thanks, --jjron (talk) 13:20, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, have done a major copyedit. I've pulled swathes of non-encyclopaedic content from the article. Realistically more could probably go. Please don't re-add unnecessary detail. For example, anything that begins with something like 'in 2010...', or 'in 2011...' probably doesn't belong there. As I said above, that sort of thing belongs on the school's website, not Wikipedia. --jjron (talk) 15:54, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
