Totally not relevant to the article... but I was amazed to find any online mention of Colby. As a kid in a nowhere town in Florida during the late 60's while in elementary school -- I was exposed to many of his books in the school library. They were absolutely my favorites, and stirred my imagination and interest in technology. Decades later, I'm doing fantastically rewarding tech work... and absolutely owe a hat tip to Colby for piquing my interest in the first place. Yeah, I have to agree. His books were in my nowhere town in Pennsylvania, too. Big and thin, with lots of cool pictures.
