Maps[edit]

Why we need two different maps if the first ma shows the whole route of the pipeline and the second one only the Georgian section? I propose to preserve only the first one.Beagel (talk) 19:58, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The second map was added to show a more detailed view of the pipeline as it passes through Georgia, which is, as the last sentence of the History section now indicates, militarily-contested in the war in South Ossetia. It is also the case that the second map base layer shows much more city-level detail to help one ascertain the pipeline route. N2e (talk) 20:09, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Length[edit]

The length of the pipeline seems to be average: 830 km in the article while the Azeri source says 837 km. I think the best way would be to refer to the operator's website where it is at 833 km.
