Questions[edit]

Ellenblum p. 248 cites one Anthimus, for 1667 info, alas, the only source he gives for any of that name, is on p. 269

  • Anthymus, 1838, ‘Description of the Boundaries of the Apostolic See of the Patriarch of Jerusalem, in 1838,” in G. Williams, The Holy City, London (1849), 490- 495.

I thought G. Williams, The Holy City, London (1849) was this:

  • Williams, George; Willis, Robert (1849). The Holy city. Historical, topographical, and antiquarian notices of Jerusalem. London: J. W. Parker.

...alas, I cannot find anything about any Anthimus in it. What am I missing? Huldra (talk) 21:35, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Found it, it is p. 498 in

...hhmm, I wonder if the 1667 data is from:

Unfortunately, I cannot find it available anywhere, Huldra (talk) 23:53, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Huldra: See here and here. Zerotalk 03:16, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Zero0000: Thanks,...but no 1667 info there, either, as I can see. So far it looks as if Ellenblum made a mistake: he cites Anthimus, for 1667 info, but Anthimus only writes about the 1838 affairs. Huldra (talk) 20:20, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1931 data[edit]

The pal.rem. site has 309 inhabitants in 1931: this is wrong. I rechecked, the correct number is 247. (the line above An-Naqura is "Nablus Suburbs", and it had 309 inhabitants, though. Easy mistake to make), Huldra (talk) 21:04, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
