April 2023[edit]

"Widespread passive resistance, with a growing threat of armed resistance, meant little money was raised and the project was dropped. King Henry VIII now lacked funds for his war in France and left with no other options, he made peace." The last sentence reads funny. I would place a comma after the word 'and'. Small Edit[edit]

Hi! Called at the time "a benevolence", it was essentially a forced loan, a levy of between one sixth and one tenth on the goods of the laity and on one-third of the goods of the clergy. In this sentence you use dashes in some of your fractions, but not all. I suggest choosing one way to write it to make it the same throughout. AlwaysSleepy4 (talk) 14:43, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Additional citation needed[edit]
