When did Alaouite Moulay Al-Rashid take control?[edit]

In the article it is put as 1079, or 600 years before the death of Ahmad al-Abbas. I changed it to 1679 assuming it to be a mistake but couldn't find information on when Alaouite Moulay Al-Rashid did take control. Celefoombor1 (talk) 14:10, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, that might have been the Hijri date by accident, and the actual date is even earlier (Rashid died in 1672). Luckily I was working on the Saadi Sultanate page recently so I fixed it with sources from there. R Prazeres (talk) 15:49, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The al-Abbas Mosque[edit]

There is no written in reason for why this is here beyond the name. I assume the Ahmad al-Abbas built it but clarification there as well as sources would be useful. Celefoombor1 (talk) 14:12, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No idea why this was added, there is no mosque related to this figure and no sources or edit summary were given. It's been removed. Thanks for noting it. R Prazeres (talk) 15:49, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... although the creator was a sock, the topic is legitimate (final sultan of a particular dynasty, mentioned on other pages) and other editors, including myself, have revised it and improved it since its creation. So the page stands fine on its own; if it was deleted it would eventually need to be created again to fill the same gap. --R Prazeres (talk) 00:37, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
