Patrick Martins[edit]

For the past couple months, @Diana Markes has been continuously adding a declared candidate called Patrick Martins, someone that has attracted no media attention and whose only source is his own campaign website. I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of this candidacy, so I decided to bring this discussion here to settle this issue for once. Until then, please don't add his name back to the list of candidates. H3nrique Bregie (talk) 21:47, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

For the past months several people are trying to delete the informations that you can confirm on the diferent links that I mentionned also on the inputs as Wikipedia ask for. On the other side we have @H3nrique Bregie who try to influence these informations and give protagonism for the marketing he does for other people without any arguments or sources. @H3nrique Bregieis clearely trying to influence this political page. If he wants to add information he needs to do it about what he knows and not delete what everybody can confirm easily. All the informations I added to this page are correct so I would like to undesrtand why 2/3 peoples are always cancelling my inputs?! Diana Markes (talk) 22:42, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can find more sources on Patrick Martins these several articles in national medias :

None of those sources talk about Patrick Martins as a presidential candidate, only about his cannabis related activism. Wikipedia is not a place for advertisement, so there needs to be some certainty and neutrality to the information added to it. As I said before, please do not revert any edits before this is settled. H3nrique Bregie (talk) 00:23, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The idea is not if thes tory is on the news but if it is real. Patrick Martins is an official candidate and I don t understand what is your point and why you want to delete this real intervention. So if you change something about Patrick Martins that you don't seem to know about I will of course cancel it. You are not allowed to remove my work because you are working for another potential candidate. I do this job for free and to help, wikipedia is not a place for SEO like you are doing. If you want to increase information abouth the people you charge it is your business, and not allowed by Wikipedia s rules, but don t touch to my job. Diana Markes (talk) 02:38, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not "your job" and you should not try to advertise someone around here. All information that is added should be backed by reliable sources (please read this article on reliable sources to know more about this), and self published sources such as personal websites do not count as reliable sources.
Plus, by continuously reverting editions, you are removing verified information that has been added for some weeks to this page. If you wanna add Patrick Martins as a candidate, please add reliable sources backing that information. Until then, please do not keep reverting editions. H3nrique Bregie (talk) 08:25, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is your point? DO you have any doubt with the sources that I gave you that Patrick Martins is officially candidate? The others informations are wrong as they are not offcially candidates and are just speculations.
I did not say that wikipedia is my work but you are doing SEO for such job that you have. You can be sure that the information I post are reliable so if you want to add something do it, but don t change anything about what I am sure and sourced. What are you source for your changes??? Diana Markes (talk) 20:46, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All the changes I have previously done are backed by reliable sources (mostly news articles) and correctly state that those candidates are speculated (Potential candidates). And as I have said before, personal websites do not count as reliable sources. If there's any other source that can back that information, please add it here so that it can be rightfully discussed. If not, then stop adding it to this page.
As I have also stated before, by continuously reverting these editions, you are removing information that has been added in the mean time and that is backed by reliable sources. Please stop reverting my editions. H3nrique Bregie (talk) 20:56, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here you can find the information from a reliable company website in Portugal with several venues : https://greenswallowcbd.com/
Now please stop to try to remove something that you no it is reliable.
Thank you very much, like that you ll earn time to both of us. Diana Markes (talk) 20:59, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
