Decreasing Death Toll[edit]

6.0 earthquake, not 5.9?[edit]

We should not write what the media says, but what the official says. The latest statements from the officials list the earthquake as 5.8. March 11, 2010 press statement of the Prime Minister's Office. Randam (talk) 16:27, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Even if Turkish instiutes dedicated to Earthquakes and Seismic activity label it as 6.0? http://www.koeri.boun.edu.tr/sismo/map/en/20100308043231.html Haiti's president and his surviving government constantly misquoted his country's earthquake himself, although HIS country was quite literally destroyed in which it is harder to get info, of course.. Reversion[edit]
