Spariolenus is a genus of Asian huntsman spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1880.[2] They are found in the Middle East reaching 15-16cm.

Etymology[edit]

The name in greek latin. Spar means "Cave-dweller". iolenus means " the middle east habitat".[citation needed]

Description[edit]

Spariolenus are fast-moving cave dwelling predators that prey on cave crickets.[2] The largest species is the Spariolenus iranomaximus which reaches 17-20 cm.[citation needed]
