Nils van Hogerlinden (born July 9, 2006) is a Swedish and Dutch footballer who plays as a center midfielder for IK Frej U19 team,[1] which participates in Superettan Norra 2024.
Personal life[edit]
In his younger years he played both ice hockey and football at a high level, but he dropped organized hockey in order to pursue football.
Career[edit]
Nils van Hogerlinden played youth football for multiple clubs in Stockholm, spending his first academy years at Vasalunds IF. He joined IK Frej, and played a year up in the P17 Allsvenskan 2022, and then the same division in 2023 with players his age. He has been called up to a Distrikslagsamling in February 2021, for some of the best players in Stockholm of that age.[2] In this particular camp there were many players who have now become professional, such as Lucas Bergvall.
