Mitsuhiro Yamazaki (山崎 満広, Mitsuhiro Yamazaki, born 1975) is a Japanese sustainable urban planner.[1] and CEO of Green Cities, Inc. in Tokyo, Japan. He is engaged in urban sustainable economic development and project management. Yamazaki holds a Master's degree in Economic Development from University of Southern Mississippi[1][2][3]. His expertise lies in urban and regional planning as well as economic development[3]

Yamazaki has held several positions including Business and Industry Development Manager and International Business Development Officer at Portland Development Commission (currently Prosper Portland), Vice President of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, and Board Member of the Japan America Society of Oregon. He has also served as a Lecturer at Shibuya University and the University of Tokyo Graduate School of City Planning, and as a Board Member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce in San Antonio, Texas[1][3].[4][5].

Currently, Yamazaki is the Creative Director at Ziba Design (founded by Sohrab Vossoughi), and also serves as an Advisor to City of Tsukuba. Additionally, he is a Senior Fellow at both Portland State University and Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus, and a Visiting Professor at Yokohama National University[1][2][6][7]
