BlackRock Latin American Investment Trust plc is a UK based closed-ended investment trust listed on the London Stock Exchange as LSE: BRLA.[1] The company invests in a variety of sectors throughout Latin America with the aim of achieving long-term capital growth for investors.[2] Its benchmark is the FTSE All-Share Index.
The trust was launched in 1990 and management was transferred to BlackRock in 2006 after a tendering process.[3] The portfolio is managed by Sam Vecht and Christoph Brinkmann.[4] The chairperson is Carolann Dobson.[5]
