Français : La Tour de Grisset à Fréteval, Loir-et-Cher, France, vestige d'un ensemble gallo-romain du IIe siècle. Cet ensemble comprenait des thermes, un puits, des bâtiments annexes, un fanum. Le fanum est un petit temple gallo-romain. La tour de Grisset constitue la partie centrale, ou "cella" du temple. Cette "cella" fermée était entourée d'une galerie ouverte. La "cella" est la pièce où réside la divinité. Elle possède toujours sa voûte ainsi que son entrée en plein cintre. Lors des fouilles, on a découvert trois monnaies attribuées à Commode, à Philippe Ier l'Africain et à Faustine l'Ancienne épouse d'Antonin le Pieux.
English: Grisset tower, remains of a Gallo-Roman set the second century. This complex of buildings included baths, a well, outbuildings, a "fanum." The "fanum" is a small Roman temple. Grisset tower is the central part, or "cella" of the temple. This "cella" closed was surrounded by an open gallery. The "cella" is the part where the deity resides. It still has its roof and arched entry. During the excavations, we found three coins attributed to Commodus, to Philip the first African and Faustina Old wife of Antoninus Pius.
This building is inscrit au titre des monuments historiques de la France. It is indexed in the base Mérimée, a database of architectural heritage maintained by the French Ministry of Culture, under the reference PA00098448 .
