Français : Tête coupée d'une jeune femme dont le visage présentait des anomalies de son vivant (front plat et dents mal positionnées), trouvée au fond de la grotte du Quéroy, dans un tumulus de quelques cm de haut, placée sur deux vases écrasés datés de l'âge du bronze moyen. La connexion anatomique tête-Mandibule inférieure montre que la tête à été déposée là à l'état frais ou peu décomposée et que le dépôt a ensuite été rapidement enfoui avant décomposition complète des ligaments. Des traces de découpe sur les vertèbres laissent penser que la tête a été sectionnée (tête trophée, sacrifice, offrande, éventuellement coupée sur un cadavre ? ). English: Severed head of a young woman whose face showed abnormalities in his lifetime (flat forehead and incorrectly positioned teeth), found at the bottom of the cave of Quéroy in a mound of few cm high, placed on two vases dated crushed the middle Bronze Age. The good anatomical connection shows that the head was deposited there fresh or at a slightly decomposed state and the deposit was then quickly buried before complete decomposition ligaments.
Cutting traces on the vertebrae suggests that the head was severed (trophy head, sacrifice, offering, possibly cut from a cadaver ?). |
