Summary

Description
English: RB-17 #41-9140. Modified B-17s like this were used over the North Atlantic by the 1st & 53d Weather Reconnaissance Squadrons.
Date B-17 #41-9140 was received by the AAF in April, 1942. It was released to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC) in September, 1945. Documented by copy of Large Aircraft Record Card received from Air Force Historical Research Agency, 2007. Documents indicate that the modifications were done at Wright Field in March, 1943.
