Description
English: The Dutch gun 8 cm A. Br . was a bronze rifled breech loader, known in Switzerland as 8.4 cm Feldgeschütz Ord 1871. In September 1939 the Dutch held a trial to establish how the inundated area could be crossed by field artillery.
Nederlands: Proefneming in het doorschrijden van geïnundeerd gebied met een kanon van 8 cm brons, getrokken door zes paarden. Het kanon was een oude getrokken bronzen achterlader. In Zwitserland was deze bekend als 8,4 cm Feldgeschütz Ord 1871. Foto door Wiel van der Randen in September 1939.
