Summary

Description
English: The four Koreans are: (first row, bottom, l-r) Khan Chan Ger (Grigorii Eliseevich) and O Son Muk. Top row (l-r): Kan San Chu and Li In Seb. Khan Chan Ger and Li In Seb were OGPU (later named NKVD), the Soviet Political Police. The photo above was taken in Nikolsk-Ussuriisk, the Primore (RFE), Russia at the end of year 1929. All four had participated in the 1929 Sino-Soviet War. 1929 was also when Grigorii E. Khan and Li In Seb were recruited to join the OGPU (per Vladislav Khan, Grigorii's biographer and great grand nephew). Copyright belongs to Jon Chang and Vladislav Khan (the grand-nephew of Grigorii). To the general public, use the photo as you like for academic or historical purposes. For the history of Li In Seb's career and biographical info see the article by Dr. Ban: https://koryo-saram.site/zhiznenny-e-puti-korejtsev-v-istoricheskih-vospominaniyah-ostavshihsya-v-zhivy-h-posle-nasil-stvennoj-deportatsii/ .
